Runners and ramblers from across the region stepped out in support of Severn Hospice on Saturday 23rd April for our annual Severn Stride.

Over 100 people took part in the hospice to hospice walk helping to raise thousands of pounds to support our vital work across Shropshire and Mid Wales. 

Starting at our site in Apley Castle, Telford the route passed through the beautiful Shropshire countryside offering fantastic views of the Wrekin before following the River Severn into Shrewsbury finishing at our hospice in Bicton Heath. Those taking part enjoyed a selection of well-deserved refreshments at the half way point at Rodington Village Hall, kindly provided by members of the team from Co-Operative Funeralcare.

We would like to say a big thank you to all those who took part in the event, or volunteered on the day, helping to raise much needed funds to support our work. Special thanks also to Rodington Village Hall and the team from Co-Operative Funeralcare for their support.
