We would like to invite shoppers in Bridgnorth to grab a bargain at the opening of our new charity shop in the town on March 30 at 10am.
Bridgnorth Mayor Vanessa Voysey is set to officially open the shop on the High Street and will talk about the work we do in the area.
We are also looking for volunteers to help run the store and we are also appealing for residents to donate any unwanted items for stock.
Our Head of Retail, Ross Henderson, said: “We’re excited to be making a permanent home in Bridgnorth, a town that has always been incredibly supportive of our hospice.
“We’d be very grateful to anyone who can drop by to donate their unwanted items to our shop, or if anyone can spare a few hours a week to volunteer with us we would welcome their support.
“By giving to your local Severn Hospice shop you’re making a big difference to local families living with a life limiting illness in Shropshire and Mid Wales.”
The Mayor will cut the ribbon at 10am and shoppers will then be able to browse the high quality goods on sale.
The shop will stock a selection of books, clothing and homewares.
For more information about volunteering please contact us at volunteers@severnhospice.org.uk. Goods can be donated in store.
