Shropshire businesses are being given the chance to learn more about our work and see how they can support us more formally at a special event in Shrewsbury.
Reech Media is hosting the event at its HQ on Friday 8 September, where we will be represented along with the Lingen Davies Cancer Fund, Shrewsbury Town in the Community and the Shropshire Youth Support Trust.
The Charity Business Event will showcase the significant contribution the four charities make to the local community, in diverse ways ranging from improving cancer services, supporting young entrepreneurs, providing residential, and at home hospice services and supporting the community through the power of sport. The event will celebrate their successes, whilst encouraging more businesses to get involved.
Severn Hospice Fundraising Manager Lucy Ruff said: “We have so much support from individuals, groups and from local businesses across Shropshire and Mid Wales but we are always keen to hear from anyone who wants to get more involved.
“Whether we’re a company’s charity of the year or the focus for a team-building fundraising event, it all adds up for our patients and the help we can give them and their families when they need it most.”
Reech Founder and Managing Director Rob Hughes commented: “We love living and working in Shropshire and proactively seek opportunities to work with other Shropshire-based businesses and charities. At Reech we always like to give something back, this is why throughout our history we have supported a number of charities and not-for-profit organisations.
“We are very fortunate at Reech to have worked with these very special charities over the last year and we are very excited to welcome local businesses to our Charity Business Event to share with them the charities achievements over a drink and a bite to eat.”
He said Reech was proud to have worked with these charities (amongst others) for some time, providing the widest range of marketing services including branding, website design & development and graphic design. The event was part of Reech’s ethos ‘in Shropshire, for Shropshire’ where they actively sought to work with local suppliers, businesses and charities, he added.
Complimentary refreshments, will be provided; however, donations will be welcomed, with the proceeds shared equally between the four charities.
If you would like to join us please RSVP here. The event is limited to 100 guests so please respond promptly!
