Our shops have been recognised as among the best in the country after beating off national competition to win a prestigious award.

We have been named Outstanding Charity Retailer of the Year by the sector’s Retail Association.

Thanks to the support of our customers, our 25 shops raise more than £1 million a year towards our work.

Severn Hospice Retail Manager, Ross Henderson, said: “This really is the highest prize in charity retailing, I am so proud of the team, and especially when you consider the other charities we were pitted against.

“We are not on 25 high streets to win awards but to raise funds for care that means so much to families in Shropshire and Mid Wales and I am absolutely thrilled that work has been recognised by the judges.”

Charity Retail Association CEO, Robin Osterley, said: “We are delighted for Severn Hospice and its shops team. The award category is our flagship one, and Severn Hospice has proved to the judging panel that their charity shops are some of the best in the UK. Congratulations!”
