Ludlow Rotary Club’s Ludlow Dog Day is returning this year on July 24th; it is being held at Stokesay Court, a few miles north of Ludlow, just off the A49.
This year Severn Hospice will be a main beneficiary of the event, which raised nearly £20,000 last year and attracted over 3,000 people for a fun filled day out.
Popular BBC TV personalities Jules Hudson, of Escape to the Country and Countryfile, and antique expert Kate Bliss, a regular on Bargain Hunt, Flog It! and Secret Dealers have both pledged their time and support to the show.
During the day there will be competitions for all types of dogs, ranging from the best rescue dog to the scruffiest mutt. There will be a full programme of special events with dog display teams and demonstrations including flyball, dog agility and dog obedience, as well as stalls offering a wide variety of countryside fare, dog accessories and a children’s activity area.
Gates will open on Sunday July 24th at 10am.
