Lymphoedema

We run a special clinic to help you control the symptoms of Lymphoedema, swelling that usually occurs in the arms or legs caused by damage to your body’s lymphatic drainage system.

Even though lymphoedema cannot be cured, staff at our clinic can advise about treatments which can help control the symptoms including, skin care; compression using stockings, sleeves or bandages; gentle exercise; and massage.

For your first appointment, we will ask you to come to our hospice in Shrewsbury where you will be seen by a lymphoedema practitioner.
