As part of our work to reach under-represented groups in our communities, Community Engagement Lead Deb Wallace have been working with SAND (Safe Ageing No Discrimination) and meets with them regularly to share ideas.

As part of SAND’s campaign to EMBRACE a culture of inclusion, we have signed their covenant and made a series of pledges to ensure that Severn Hospice and the services it provides are welcoming and inclusive.

SAND visualises a future where lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin are fully integrated into the community – one that values their experiences, meets their needs and offers appropriate personalised care as they age.
