“David’s father Auryel had terminal cancer and stayed at Severn Hospice.

When Auryel was discharged from hospital back home, he was depressed, angry and devastated at his lack of care and treatment he had received, so he chose to go to the hospice as he was in so much pain.

During his time at the hospice, from day one he was welcomed, cared for, his pain brought under control and made comfortable. This stay at the hospice meant the world to him and his entire family. Every single member of staff were excellent.

As a result of this, his sense of humour was back, his pain was under control and his outlook became less bleak and for that we are eternally grateful.

I’d like to raise as much awareness of the incredible work everyone at the hospice does and raise as much money as possible. David and I pledge to raise £10,000.
