Community Fundraising Advisor
£17,500 to £21,000 depending on experience
A new role has arisen within the Appeals Department as a result of an internal restructure. Based in Telford but working regularly from our Shrewsbury site, the successful applicant will be working closely with members of the public who fundraise on behalf of Severn Hospice. This is a full time role (37.5 hours a week) which will involve some out of hours work and travel within our catchment area of Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales.

Clinical Nurse Specialist – Telford / Shrewsbury
12 month fixed term contract / secondment opportunity
£30,237- £39,864 per annum depending on experience (Based on Band 7 under Agenda for Change)
37½ hours per week
Covering both sites, the postholder will be responsible for providing specialist advanced palliative care nursing advice to patients, professionals and carers alike in the community. In addition, they will manage a caseload of patients with complex palliative care needs.
Previous palliative care experience is essential together with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You must have the ability to work under your own initiative with a flexible approach to work and a good sense of humour.
An enhanced CRB disclosure will be required.

Bank Hours are worked by mutual agreement when the Hospice has a shortfall in the service. Working as part of a flexible nursing team, you will play a key role in maintaining a high standard of patient care including support for the patients’ relatives.
Bank Nursing Assistant: £7.52 – £10.33 per hour excluding nightshift premium (where applicable). Previous nursing assistant experience and NVQ Level 2 in Care are both desirable.
