Lottery Manager – based at Apley Castle, Telford

Full time c£21,000 to £27,000 per annum

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of development, management and operation of Severn Hospice Lottery,  contributing c £1m profit per annum to Severn Hospice through the regular support of its membership, currently c24,000 from membership throughout Shropshire and Mid Wales.

Fundraising Officer – Income Generation – based at Apley Castle, Telford

Full time c£21,000 to £27,000 per annum

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing voluntary income from Trusts, Companies, In Memoriam donations, maximising Gift Aid claimable on qualifying donations and monitoring data integrity and quality,  contributing with the wider Appeals team to raising £4.3m net this year. Severn Hospice provides pain and symptom control to over 2,500 patients every year from throughout Shropshire and Mid Wales, whilst the care is totally free of charge it is not without cost, this role is vital in making the delivery of our caring team possible.

 Retail Development Manager -Telford

(plus travel associated with role)

c.£25,000 p.a. Full time

Severn Hospice shops are changing – be part of our exciting plans!

To deliver sustainable retail income, we have to offer an excellent product from a first class sales outlet. An essential part of our plan is to make sure that we have plenty of quality, donated stock available for our customers.

That is where you come in! You will be the lead on regional and local stock generation initiatives – from making useful business contacts to providing materials and support for shop managers.

We also have an EPOS system to assist the management and sales of our stock. You will be responsible for the operational management and development of this – ensuring that we get maximum benefit from it.

Finally, we want to drive forward our e-sales of high-end, donated goods by enhancing our e-bay retail offer

This role would suit somebody with retail, sales or distribution background. A real people person with a logical mind and commercial outlook should flourish in this role.

37.5 hours per week (5 days out 7)

Bank HCA – Hospice at Home

Our Hospice at Home service also offers bank work for RNs and HCAs to work with patients and families in their own homes when care is most needed at the end of life. The service is looking for staff who can be flexible, respond quickly and work for short periods during the day or longer periods over night. Clean driving licence is essential.

We are currently looking for two HCA, one based in England and one based in North Powys, to join our bank staff working within our Hospice at Home service.
