Meet Val Higgins
Last year we discovered that one of our Day Patients, Val Higgins, was a talented writer. She kindly agreed to give us some insight into the life of a person living with cancer, via occasional diary posts.
Sadly Val died on 9 December 2010 but her passionate, creative and inspiring personality still shines through in the words she left us.
The diary entries are in Val’s own words and we hope that you will be as inspired as we have been by her writing.
