Meet Val Higgins

Val for blogWe recently discovered that one of our Day Patients, Valerie Higgins, is a talented writer. She has kindly agreed to give us some insight into the life of a person living with cancer, via a weekly-ish diary. It is our intention to convert this diary into an interactive blog, but Val’s writing moved us so much that we decided to share it with you via our main website while we are building the blog.

The diary entires are in Val’s own words. When she touches on issues that we may be able to provide further useful information on, our words will be clearly differentiated from Val’s and will appear at the end of her piece.

We hope that you will be as inspired as we have been by Val’s writing and will keep reading as she updates us on her journey. Once the official blog has been launched you will be able to share your comments on each post, but in the meantime you can use the feedback button at the bottom of the page to tell us your thougths and we will pass these on to Val.
