London Marathon 2012 – Congratulations!
Congratulations and thank you to all of those that ran the Virgin London Marathon 2012 to raise funds for Severn Hospice. We hope that you were able to enjoy the experience despite the enormity of the challenge that you faced.
Alan Copp was our first runner back in a time of 3:22:27. Alan got his own place through the London Marathon Ballot and elected to support us through his involvement. Our first Gold Bond runner back was Russell Johnson in 3:27:45 with our first female home, Jo Duly, completing the course in 4:23:45.
For many it is the getting round that counts and several of our team took over six and a half hours to make it around the famous capital city course and we admire their achievement every bit as much as those chasing personal best times.
If you want to find out how friends or colleagues got on you can look up the results here and search for them by name.
If our team VLM12 has inspired you to take on the streets of London in 2013 then you can apply for one of our ten Gold Bond places here but please also apply direct to the Virgin ballot on Monday 30 April.
Thank you again to all of our team members for their fabulous efforts both on the course and with their fundraising.
