Many of our Lottery members like to pay regularly but don’t want to set up a standing order. They often prefer to have their money collected at the door and we have a network of collectors who regularly go out and visit people in their local area to collect Lottery payments.
This requires a commitment of a few hours a month and only involves collecting payments from people who are already signed up to the Severn Hospice Lottery. It does not involve cold calling or trying to convince people to join the Lottery.
It is a responsible position, representing Severn Hospice in the community, and involves a little bit of paperwork to make sure the Lottery accounts are up to date. It is a very sociable role and would suit someone who is good with people and likes to have a bit of a chat.
