Justgiving is an internet company that can help to manage your sponsorship or donations. They charge a small fee for their services, which is automatically subtracted from the amount you raise, but they make it so easy to collect money, claim Gift Aid from the government and transfer the money to us that we think their fee is good value.
As a fundraiser, you set up your own page on the website at www.justgiving.com. This is very easy to do. Then you send the link to this page to your friends and family and they make donations online.
You might set up a page to raise sponsorship for an event you are taking part in, or to collect donations instead of wedding presents, birthday gifts or even funeral flowers.
