Donating to Severn Hospice
We depend on the public for over two thirds of our funding. This page gives you information on how you can give money to support the care we offer.
You can donate securely online here:
If you pay tax, we may be able to claim extra money on top of your donation from the government through Gift Aid. There are strict rules involved with Gift Aid and we have a page here explaining how you can make sure that we can claim the maximum from the government.

Become a regular giver
Knowing that we have a regular source of income means we can plan ahead and put new projects into place as the need arises. Even a small donation on a regular basis can make a big difference in helping us plan ahead.
If you have a bank account you can make a regular donation by setting up a standing order with your bank on an annual, quarterly, or monthly basis. To set up a standing order, download this form, complete it and send it to us (not to your bank).
If you are employed, your employer might offer Give As You Earn. This is a scheme run by Charities Aid Foundation where your donation is taken directly out of your pay, before you pay tax. For more information click here.
Join the Lottery
You could join the Severn Hospice Lottery. It costs just £1 per week to play, of which 65p comes straight to us to help us provide care across Shropshire, Telford and Montgomeryshire. Every week someone wins £2,000 and 199 other people win a smaller cash prize.
You can join the Lottery by cheque, standing order, debit card or credit card.
