Get involved!

We could not hold the Midnight Walk without the help of volunteers. In 2009 almost 200 people gave up their Saturday night to have some fun and help a brilliant cause. We need volunteers in every aspect of the event, from handing out cake to cheering the ladies on as they set off.

We need people to help with registration, to run the 5km checkpoint and to welcome the successful walkers back.

We are also looking for men to help marshal the route. If you are walking, could your husband, partner, son, dad, brother or friend help? We need as many men as possible to help light the way around the course and keep walkers safe. It is a fantastic night out for volunteers as well as the walkers. Marshals are only needed for a few hours and the event will finish no later than 3.30am.

If you think you might want to help, or you know someone who would, just contact the Appeals Department (with their permission) on 01952 221 351 or 01743 354 450, or email midnightwalk@severnhospice.org.uk and we will get in touch with them.
