Spring Stride 2012

We are thrilled to announce the return of our annual Spring Walk, but with a new twist and a new name!

After five successful years, we decided it was time for a revamp and have moved the event to Coalbrookdale, where we are offering brand new routes of 3, 5 and 10 miles. We are certain that our regular participants will give a sigh of relief not to have to climb the Ercall again!

The new improved Spring Stride will start and finish at The Greenwood Centre, Station Road, Coalbrookdale, TF8 7DR, on Sunday 22 April 2012. The event is open to walkers, runners and dogs – everyone is welcome.

On the day those running the event will set off prior to those walking to avoid congestion. Start times will be confirmed in the information pack we will send out when you sign up to the event.

The routes on offer explore Coalbrookdale, Ironbridge, Jackfield and Broseley and take in some beautiful views of Shropshire. All three pass through the town of Ironbridge, while the longer route also takes in more rural areas. There will be water stops on the five and 10 miles routes and the Greenwood Centre Cafe will be open.

You can view the routes in detail by following the links below. You do not have to decide which you wish to do until you sign in on the day.
