Results of Severn Hospice general knowledge quiz
We were delighted to be able to offer a 200 question general knowledge quiz to lighten the dark winter months thanks to Dave Watkins of Market Drayton. The completed quizzes have now been marked by Dave and the full answers are given below, together with a list of winners and those who scored over 175.
A message from Dave: ‘I would like to thank everyone who purchased my quiz sheet and contributed to the final total of £1,400 which will be forwarded to the Severn Hospice funds. A total of 60 quiz answer sheets were submitted for marking, and my congratulations go to the winners. I am hoping to set another brainteaser for next autumn, which will be available from September onwards in all Severn Hospice Shops and other usual outlets or directly from myself on 01630654130 or dgwatkins@sky.com.’
We would also like to thank Dave for his own hard work in compiling the quiz and painstakingly checking each completed answer sheet. We look forward to seeing the new quiz later in the year and will announce details on this site when it is ready.
