Much Wenlock Support Group presentation

At the end of another year of hard work for the benefit of our patients, Much Wenlock Severn Hospice Support Group were able to present the Vice Chairman of the Hospice Trustees, John Fairclough, with a cheque for £3500.
The presentation took place at the world famous Raven Hotel in Much Wenlock on Saturday when the Support Group also drew the winners of their annual Christmas Draw. M Holland from Wrockwardine was the lucky winner of the Christmas Hamper whilst Mrs Bolliver in Cressage scooped the second prize of a meal for two.
The tremendous efforts of Much Wenlock and, indeed, all of our Support Groups is greatly appreciated. They are responsible for a huge part of our annual fundraising and this group alone has donated almost £45,000 towards patient care since their inception. Our thanks go to all of the Group members and to everyone that supported them throughout the year.
