Complementary therapists here at Severn Hospice today teamed up with beauty therapists from Arbonne for a special Pamper Day held in our Shrewsbury Day Hospice.

Patients enjoyed makeovers and demonstrations from the beauty experts, while our therapists provided relaxing and soothing treatments such as reflexology.

Sue Williams, of our complementary therapy team, explained ‘We use complementary therapy at the hospice to work alongside the medical team to provide treatments which help with a wide range of symptoms our patients experience such as anxiety and pain.  The Pamper Day has provided our patients with an opportunity to find out more about the treatments we offer as well as giving them a bit of luxury thanks to the team from Arbonne who have donated their time free of charge.’

A similar Pamper Day was held at our Telford site earlier this year, once again with the generous support of Arbonne.
