Return of our general knowledge quiz

For the third year running we are delighted to be able to offer a brand new 200 question general knowledge quiz prepared by quizmaster Dave Watkins of Market Drayton.
Dave’s quizzes have developed a real following across the region, with the range of topics covered sure to challenge everyone.
The quiz comes in the form of a question sheet and separate answer sheet which is detached and returned to Dave for marking. A fiendish tiebreaker question, which no amount of Googling can help with, is the final decider. The full answers will appear on this website shortly after the closing date and a list of answers will also be provided to anyone who sends a stamped addressed envelope with their entry.
Quizzes are available from all Severn Hospice shops throughout September. A map and list of locations can be found here, covering the whole of Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales. We also have quizzes in the reception areas of the Hospice sites, and copies can be obtained by calling Dave direct on 01630 654 130.
The closing date for the quiz is 15 February 2012. The long running time helps to ensure the maximum possible is raised, while also turning the quiz into a treat for the shorter autumn and winter evenings. First prize is £25, second prize is £15 and third prize is £10.
Last year £1,400 was raised by the quiz and Dave hopes to beat that total this year. At just £2 per question sheet you could help him by giving the quiz as a stocking filler gift or simply buying extra copies for friends and families. Every penny will go to supporting the people cared for by Severn Hospice.
