New Education Prospectus launched

Posted on Aug 11, 2011

Education is a central part of our work and we have a dedicated team who provide high quality training to healthcare professionals, volunteer agencies and many others. The majority of our training courses and study days are delivered at either our Shrewsbury or Telford site, where we can accommodate groups of between 10 and 50 and can offer excellent in-house catering.

We are also able to offer bespoke training programmes to suit different organisations and can deliver training at outside venues that are convenient for the client.

Our 2011-2012 prospectus is now available, offering a wide range of courses. Practical training sessions include the use of syringe pumps, lymphodoema treatment principles and administering foot and hand massages. Theory lectures include sessions on neuropathic pain, end of life care and the Liverpool Care Pathway, and learning disability awareness. Our popular three day introduction to palliative care for healthcare assistants will be repeated and we will also be offering tours of the Hospices themselves.

The courses available in September 2011 cover chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), nausea and vomoting, spiritual and religious care and verification of death.

Full details of all courses including timings, venues and costs can be found in our prospectus. Too book a place simply complete and return this form with your payment.
