London Marathon 2012 Last Chance

Each year ten lucky runners are guaranteed the chance to run in the Virgin London Marathon with one of our Severn Hospice Gold Bond places. Competition for these is fierce and applications must be submitted by 2 September 2011. This is the last chance to apply for one of our places in the race.
We will then review all of the applications, choose our team and let everyone know regarding their success or otherwise by the end of September at the latest.
The 2012 Marathon will take place on Sunday 22 April through the streets of our capital city.
The 2011 race saw very high temperatures in London and several of our runners had to slow their pace to cope with the exceptional conditions. Despite this they all thoroughly enjoyed the experience and between them have raised over £38,000 towards the work of Severn Hospice in Shropshire and Mid Wales.
Whether you have a special reason for wanting to run for Severn Hospice or, if simply taking part in one of the world’s best known marathon events has always been an ambition, you are welcome to apply.
