Thanks to Welshpool Fire Fighters

For almost a year the team at Welshpool Fire Station has been fundraising for Severn Hospice. Among other activities they organised a fantastic Midnight Walk in the grounds of Powys Castle last November and a challenging Spinathon in February.
Thanks to their hard work a tremendous £5513.10 has been raised and Russell Pugh recently visited our Shrewsbury site to present the cheque to nurse Beth Johnson.
The amount raised is a real testament to the enthusiasm, imagination and commitment of the Fire Fighters and we are deeply grateful to them for all that they have done. our thanks go to them and to everyone who supported them by taking part in one of the events or making a donation.
