Right Around the Wrekin Walk

Posted on Jun 24, 2011

We’ve all heard the phrase ‘right around the Wrekin’  and now The Rotary Club of Wellington have organised a family orientated 8km walk that is doing just that.

Taking place on 3 July the walk is aimed at those who would rather a gentle stroll around rather than up the well known Shropshire landsight. The walk will start at the Old Rifle Range between 10.00am and noon. Entrance fees, payable to the Rotary club for its own charities, are £4 for an adult and £2 for a young person under 16yrs or you can pay a family entry of £10. You are welcome to turn up on the day, pay the fees and enjoy the walk. Young children must be accompanied by an adult and well-behaved dogs are welcome.

If you would like to use the opportunity to raise money for your favourite charity then official Sponsorship forms to enable you to do so are available from the Rotary Club or from Mike Perry at the Hospice.

Sensible shoes are needed and clothing appropriate to the day.

Further information about the walk can be seen on the Rotary Club of Wellington website here.
