Firefighters in a fundraising spin!

The Welshpool Fire Fighters are organising a charity Spin-a-thon to raise funds for Severn Hospice, their official charity of the year. The indoor four hour cycling challenge is a chance for teams of up to four people to take part in a unique challenge and win prizes while raising essential funds.
Registration for the event, which sold out last year, is now open and organisers are urging everyone who wants to get involved to sign up while there are still places available.
The Spin-athon- will take place on Sunday 27 February at the Flash Leisure Centre in Welshpool. It costs £30 a bike and there is no need to raise sponsorship.
96 bikes are available and participants will be supported by instructors from Flash, Maldwyn and Llanfair.
