Fron Male Voice Choir returns to Wellington
Posted on Feb 4, 2010
The wonderful Fron Male Voice Choir will be performing in Wellington on Friday 5 March 2010 to raise funds for Severn Hospice.
The evening has been organised by the Rotary Club of Wellington and will take place at Wellington Parish Church. The concert will begin at 7.45pm.
Anyone who has had the pleasure of hearing the Choir before will know that this will be a really special evening. The Choir has an international following and in recent years they have added outstanding recording success to their well-earned reputation as one of the best male voice choirs in the world. Their Voices of the Valley CD has gone platinum and both it and the follow up, Voices of the Valley – Encore were nominated for Best NS&I Album of the Year at the BRIT awards.
With recent work including collaborations with Rolf Harris and Eric Idle, and several performances in front of HRH the Prince of Wales, the Choir is busier than ever.
This concert will certainly sell out and early purchase of tickets is recommended. They cost just £10 and are available from Severn Hospice shops or by contacting the President of the Rotary Club of Wellington on 01952 242 410 or by email at pres09@wellingtonrotary.org.uk.
We would like to thank the Rotary Club of Wellington for organising this wonderful event, and for their generous support over many years.
