Quilt Draw Results

Today the Newport Ps & Qs quilting group picked out the lucky winner of the beautiful handmade quilt which they donated to Severn Hospice in the autumn. The quilt was raffled, with tickets available at Severn Hospice shops throughout Shropshire and Mid Wales as well as at our Hospices in Newtown, Shrewsbury and Telford. The quilt itself also travelled around the county giving the shoppers a chance to see it for themselves.
The winners are:
1st Prize of the quilt: Mr Rick Tyrer from Wellington
2nd Prize of a hamper: Mr Jones from Newport
3rd Prize of a cuddley toy: Mr Colin Swinells from Aqueduct
A huge thank you again to the ladies for donating the quilt and to everyone who bought tickets and helped us to raise a fantastic £784.
